Follow the cobblestone paths through the village, walk along the paths to Stavros  (920 m. altitude) and to St. George and enjoy the incomparable, picturesque landscape.

Chrisi Island: In the southern point of Europe, the Chrisi island is ideal for swimming in its deep blue waters, relaxing in unique beaches or even hiking in the rare cedar wood that sprouts off the sand, It is only a 45 minutes ferry journey from Ierapetra. 
Agios nikolaos: It is the capital of the Lasithi region since 1904 and is built in the northwest end of the cal Mirabello bay. Although it is a modern town, it maintains its picturesque element, especially in the town centre. In the middle of the town is the famous round lake "Voulismeni", where according to the myth the goddess Minerva used to bathe. Agios Nikolaos is situated 25 km north of Anatoli. 
Elounda: It is a worldwide well known resort with modern tourist facilities. From Elounda short day trips are organized to Spinalonga island. This island is located in the north end of the peninsula. In ancient times a fortress was built on the island to protect the harbour of "Olounda" (Elounda) from the pirates. Later, in the 16th century, the fortress was strengthened by the Venetians to protect the area from the Turk. 
Vai: In the eastern end of Crete, Vai is the largest and most astonishing palm grove in Europe. It spreads in an area of 2,500 square meters and it is a green oasis of thousand of palm trees which ends up to a golden sand beach. The crystal-clear waters and the tiny island just a few meters from the beach compose an exotic scenery of incomparable beauty and attract thousands of visitors from all over the world. 
Diktaion Andron: In the north slope of the Mount Dikti, up to 1025 m. above sea level, is situated the "Dikteon Andron", the cave where Zeus, father of gods and men, was born. It is a place of ancient worship, one of the most important and imposing in Crete. According to the findings, hundreds of pilgrims arrived to the cave from far away to honour the gods and donate their offerings. Other historic nearby destinations: Knossos, Festos, Zakros .
